How to Sign Up with Email¶

This guide covers how to create a new Plucky Wire account using your email address. It's the simplest way to register.

Before You Begin¶

You will need:

Go to https://wire.pluckyworks.org and click Create an Account.
Fill in the registration form:
- Enter your email address
- Create a password
- Enter your first and last name
- Complete the CAPTCHA verification
Click Create Account.
Check your email inbox for a verification message from Plucky Wire.
Click the verification link in the email to confirm your account.

Your account is now active. You can log in and start using Plucky Wire.

After creating your account, you'll need to complete your setup:

If you help run a news collaborative, you don't need to join an Outlet. Your next step will be to create a Group.

I didn't receive a verification email

Check your spam or junk folder
Wait a few minutes and check again
If you still don't see it, go to the login page, sign in, and request a new verification email using the Resend button at the top of the screen.
